Tea May Have Heart Health Benefits

According to researchers at the University of Western Australia School of Medicine, tea, which is rich in polyphenols, may have a protective effect on women's heart health. After looking at the relationship between tea consumption and blood pressure in a cross-sectional study of 218 women, all of whom were older than 70, the researchers saw that there may be a relationship between the long-term ingestion of tea and a favorable effect on blood pressure in older women.
